About the event
Swap your hiking boots for a paddle and join the Savannah Tree Foundation and Savannah Canoe & Kayak for an immersive, on-the-water exploration of Coastal Georgia's incredible forested waterways on Skidaway Island.
Our local rivers, creeks, and marshes are defined by the trees that line them. On this guided interpretive paddle, we will get a unique, tree's-eye view of these vibrant ecosystems and dive deep into the vital role our coastal and wetland forests play in keeping our environment healthy, resilient, and beautiful.
